I was thinking of printing onto watercolour paper and painting with ink and watercolours, would give a nice effect dont you think?

I think thats a great Idea, maybe print in a lighter grey tho and not black, so that your hard linework will blend a lot better, making the ink wash for the shadows will also give it a nice smooth fall off.
I would like to see what you o with it for the finish, good job!

This is amazing! It is difficult to comprehend how you did it straight as pen, and in so little time. It is impressive and inspiring. Is A3 fine liner a pen, or a computer program? It seems like a story in and of itself, with many hidden elements to discover. Quite a magical place in which I would like to dwell.

Cheers Marios, Yes fineliner is a pen. At the time i got into just doing little areas in pen first and develop how they connected. I really like drawing these magical woods type scenes and hiding little details and adding faces for the the viewr to try and discover.

Could you tell me what the circle thing is to the right of the five petal flowers? Its attached to a rock and kinda like a turtle or a frog.

Well, a lot of the time i just add details off the cuff, but i was thinking it was like some kind of ore, or maybe like precious stone in the seam of the rock. This ties it in with the miners behind it.

Absolutley! There's so much detail and work that obviously goes into this and the viewers are no doubt amazed at how comeone could draw such a detailed peice of work.
It reminds me of really old story books, and fairy tales. All those little characters in this peice are incredible, i can stare at it for hours trying to find all faces and creatures you've added.
It reminds me of so many different things, i cant place why its so nostalgic to me, lol but it gives me that childhood feeling.
I want to say so much more! lol but ive gotta stop somewhere, i truly hope you make another peice like this, i cant wait!

This is some serious, crazy, wonderful detail. And I thought I was really into detailing my pencil works, you have it mastered - and with ink no less! It's simply amazing. I keep looking at it and finding something new hidden within, I'm just floored. Brilliant.

The eye in the bush at the bottom in the foreground, the .. Lemur? .. In the tree, and the contrast of the mine and the castle are what do it for me. I've spent a while looking at it and I'm just getting lost now. Fantastic work!
