I really like the coloring and how you portrayed the light coming off of the flame - I tend to have some difficulty with that.
The only thing I think doesn't work as best it could is the eye. Everything has a nice gradation that gives the piece a unified and more solid feel, but the lack of transition in the eye - particularly within the white highlighta - renders it a bit too flat.
