I'm half done on my current painting. Was interrupted for a few weeks staying at a nursing home and watching someone die... gave me thoughts to write about on death, etc.
I think my writing skill is starting to come back...

It didn't take long to draw this sketch, because there are mostly lines, less than 2 hours I think.
That must have been a moving experience, I'm curious about your thoughts on death. Do you believe in afterlife?

Yes. I also believe that people can hear or sense around them when they are in comas. I have seen this firsthand and also know of a few cases. However I also know that many people don't believe that's possible...

More important, has anyone offered to buy any? I've had a couple people ask if I sold my art. Never really thought about it...

Are you referring to glass paintings? I don't know anyone interested in buying my art, people here only like paintings of landscapes, flower vases and portraits. My style is way too unusual.
If they want to buy your paintings I don't see any reason why you shouldn't sell them. We can't keep them just for our eyes forever; we'll be leaving behind everything we own when we die. There's no point in holding on to stuff, but they may bring a bit of joy to someone else.

Your (as you call it) "unusual" style may someday make you famous and your work may eventually be worth thousands, even millions of dollars. Unfortunately, you will need to be dead before this happens... Until then, you may remain a starving artist.
But I'll remain hopeful because I see a talent with your art. I believe it's the theme in all of them... I do the same. But...,
