From the original toyline, Turbo was part of the action-masters line which are Transformers that don’t transform. However a small line that was released in Europe, had a few action masters elites that attempted to transform. Most of them paid homage to other characters, Turbo here is an homage to bruticus which shares a similar head and torso design. However unlike bruticus, he’s not a combiner rather he transforms into a osprey-like heli-plane.

After reading about the minor transformers character that have little to appearances over the years. I started to give some of these characters a bit of a redesign, but still keeping elements of their original toy designs. Cause a lot of these characters are interesting and don’t get a lot of love.
