It was.....had a totally different feel. Can't remember exactly but it was about him engaging a radio DJ and making her panic by telling her he was about to kill someone....which he wasn't. It was kinda tense. Loved Tony...amazing actor

North by Northwest is one of my all time fav films, I love the story, the 50's period architecture, interiors, fashion - everything!.

Haha. Just watched the movie several days ago. Some creepy shit! Extremely well done, watched it in black&white and wow... just highlights the horror of it.

Oh yah Hitchcock loved contrast in everything from the filming perspective highlights and shadows closeups and distant. From moods ranging from joyful to horrified and innocence to vicious killer. The movies are always shifting creating a surreal but real feel to them all.

Yeah.. def. Its a pity so many people these days take black n' white movies for granted, cause it really highlights emotions if you ask me, lol. Not only that, its actual art. Many things are but they're demeaned or taken for granted.

You are preaching to the choir..I have been a fines arts BW artist for years had my work some very elite galleries, shows the whole nine yards. There is nothing worse than somebody who looks at an image and asks "do you have this in color?"
But we must make art for our own tastes and understand all of us are unique. Two people look at the same image one walks away and thinks what a mess and another walks away and says what a masterpiece.

Totally, though at times its hard to get used to people liking stuff you think is ridiculous and them disliking something you love.. lol. Especially when people diss the great classics and say they prefer some shitty modern movie, books(e.t.c),, then its like "Seriously?! You REALLY just compared those two COMPLETELY different things?" Just seems like the more we 'awesomely evolve' and become ' greatly modern' the more people's tastes in art, film, etc become stupid and tacky.
