For some reason it makes me think of the bad guy from Robocop two, rebuilt in the Alien/predator/terminator combined universe. It's not just the name either. I'd like to see that movie though.

I don't feel it balanced well and looks a bit out of scale... Just IMO
I prefer thinner leg and more slender shape

well you know what they say, anything is legal until you're caught. I'm accustomed to having my art and ideas stolen in the past, but it's always great for me or my fans to catch those people out there stealing my stuff : )

Despite the bestial influence I really like how the armour makes me think of the bark on trees. It's really cool. I do giggle a little bit as I view this though as it seems that you've focused more on the head and shoulders and progressively provide less detail heading downwards to the feet.

Hey thanks! in concept art as well as general painting techniques, you always pick the head area as your center of focus, and then the rendering becomes looser as you head down the bottom, it gives the visual illusion of depth and details

you should know that everything in terms of muscle suit designs from mainstream American culture came from a little well known Japanese anime called Ghost in the Shell back in the 80s
