*edit* I finally found a good scanner to use. It looks so much better now
Here is a drawing I've been working on for a few weeks. I've been doing a lot of graphite drawings lately so I needed something in color to switch off to every once in a while.
It may sound strange, but I actually enjoy drawing leather coats.

Okay, I'm commenting on this because I love MCR or Gerard Way or anything. I do, but that's besides the point. This comment is solely about your incredible talent:
First of all, the emotion. I mean, you nailed it! The expression is perfectly captured, and everything looks in proportion despite the angle of his face. Alot of the time, that doesn't happen. And then the colour. I love it. So much. I like the almost purple tones in his face, they make him look far more interesting and alive, you know? And you can tell that you love drawing leather, it looks awesome.
I think my favourite part is the hair and skin. I mean, likeness is like 200%, but just the way you blended and shaded. Especially with the platinum hair. I doesn't look at all flat or over exposed.
Sorry for the long comment. This is just a genuinely AWESOME piece.

And yes, I totally understand about the hair. A while ago I was drawing one of the Black Parade era pictures and in the end I just left him with the beginnings of bangs. It was way too much work. Your picture kind of make me want to try again though
