Description
This is the latest/current design for Ying,she is the martial arts teacher (first one of many truth be told) for Ko, and joint lead in my martial arts story.
She practises Wing Chun & T'ai Chi Ch'uan.
I originally drew this about a year ago & after some subsequent change, decided to settle on this design; although I'm still not quite 100% happy with her entire outfit so it may be subject to change. At least her facial features and overall physical appearance is how I'd like and I hope you can see some maturity & strength in her look !

hmmmm- make her skirt a little longer with the same high split, it'll look more feminine and dead sexy.. and go with either cold tones (the green dress) or warm tones (the sash and stockings), I think mixing them is a little x-mas tree-ish..
I love her hair and facial expression! can't wait to see how this all turns out!

I like the sound of that, so how about long skirt high split and maybe no stockings ? Or is that too revealing ??? Yeah I think you're right about the xmas tree tones haha ! What can I put with the green I wonder, because I want to kept that as her main colour hmmm ...

hrmmm I would go with a nice turquoisy green and then there are warm marigold, sunburst, magenta, gold colors that would offset it well. I think it's good to use rich, vibrant colors, since as soon as you're coloring them in dark lighting they'll get darker anyway.
And yuss! High split long skirt no stockings would be awesome I think (though you do have to want to draw it!)
and you can get a lot of variation depending on the shoes she's wearing with it- heels? Chinese slippers? bare feet?

I'll definitely take your advice into consideration when/if I change her design. Luckily it's going to be a monotone comic so colours aren't of adamant importance right now !
