how did you get the textures/which medium did you use?

This was just a quick doodle-ish type thing, so the tools weren't that fancy: Prismacolor colored pencils and Crayola markers (and an opaque white marker) on a sheet of plain 8.5x11'' paper.. (though the yellow overlay was added in Photoshop).
As for the textures, one is from . The rest is a result of the crappiness of Crayola markers and their refusal to blend smoothly

I like this a lot. The work that inspired it is cold, what made you decide to make it warm? What are the dimensions? What kind of paints did you use?

I did this on an 8.5x11" sheet of plain printer paper with Prismacolor colored pencils and Crayola markers. nothing special, really. The yellow was added in Photoshop. I decided to make it warm out of sheer curiosity.
