Description
Bridging the divides between the houses, the three professors of the Officer's Academy decided to come together and propose a temporary rule change. One that the students never expected. They decreed that the house loungewear become the new uniform, insisting that students of all three houses must wear such attire or face punishment.
"That's what they said, at least," Dorothea sighed, "our teachers come up with the strangest things..."
"Indeed. They have always been adventurous, but this..."
Edelgard sighed, staring down at her red attire. The emblem of the Black Eagles did not look so proud when emblazoned on such casual clothes.
"Maybe they are meaning to be bringing us together," Petra proposed, strengthening her grip on Bernadetta's arm as she tried once again to flee back to her room.
"You may have a point. Commoner or noble, regardless of house, we are all wearing the same thing..." Edelgard mused.
"It's certainly more comfortable than uniform. But I would like to have some control over my outfit," Dorothea said.
"Perhaps this change in rules will be temporary. At any rate, we should complete the task we came here to do," the leader insisted.
The four girls of the Black Eagle House spread out, collecting together objects from all corners of the room. Most of the things they found in this long neglected monastery room were junk, but there could be valuable weapons hiding amongst the horde, or treasures of the church. Believing she had found one of such items, Petra called the others over.
"Wha-what is that?" Bernadetta trembled.
"I am not knowing. Look, it is glowing with magicalness," Petra pointed out.
"A strange orb. Looks kind of sinister," Dorothea remarked, "we should put it-"
Suddenly it glowed brighter.
"Look out!" Edelgard warned her friends too late. The four of them were engulfed in a blinding light...
"It is comfortable, I'll grant you. But hardly befitting of nobility," Lorenz grumbled.
"A true noble can make anything shine brilliantly!" Ferdinand proclaimed, "although this is... somewhat cheap."
"Who cares? It's light, easy on the eyes, and when the ladies wear it..." Sylvain chuckled.
"Must we really be accompanied by this cad?" Lorenz asked.
"Hmm? Did you hear that noise?" Ferdinand glanced towards the door of an old monastery building that they happened to be wandering past.
"A woman's voice. We must assist at once!" Lorenz declared.
"Hold on! We're coming in!"
Sylvain kicked the door, causing it to fly open.
"...I do not believe it was locked," Lorenz remarked.
What the three noblemen found on the other side of the door was an empty room.
"Nothing but junk in here," Sylvain said.
"Strange, I could have sworn I heard... aha! Look, down there!" Ferdinand pointed.
The other two flanked him, peering downward to see what he had found. Four tiny figures, standing on the floor.
"Dolls? I hardly see how these are... they moved!" Lorenz gasped.
"Dressed in red... hey! It's the girls from the Black Eagles!" Sylvain realized.
"Is that you, Edelgard?" Ferdinand asked, squatting, "Dorothea and Petra as well. And is that Bernadetta I see behind you?"
"You have found us! I am having much joy," Petra smiled. The others were not so glad.
"These three? Out of everyone who could possibly have come by?" Dorthea shook her head in disbelief.
"I'm happy we have been found, but... Ferdinand, you had better behave yourself," Edelgard warned.
"Th-they're so big... c-can I go hide?" Bernadetta asked, "o-over under those books, maybe?"
"Come on, let's get you off the floor," Sylvain said as he crouched down, "it's dangerous down there for little ladies."
His hand came down and scooped up Dorothea. Edelgard reluctantly stepped into Ferdinand's hands, Bernadetta following close behind. That left Lorenz to pick up Petra.
"This is so cool!" Sylvain marveled, "they're like living dolls! I wonder if..."
With the tip of his finger, he lifted Dorothea's top and reached in. She was too mortified to even speak.
"Sylvain! Stop that at once!" the tiny Edelgard yelled, Bernadetta cowering behind her. Petra reached out for her friend, but was much too far away to intervene. Meanwhile, Ferdinand smirked, amused by the high-pitched voice of his rival.
"This really is quite curious," Lorenz mused, "what could possibly have caused such a thing to happen?"
"Do tell," Ferdinand prompted them, "we must stop at nothing to restore them to normal! For that is the noble thing to do!"
"We'll tell you everything!" Edelgard shouted, "but get Dorothea out of Sylvain's hands first!"
