He gets his energy from the sun but also from his brother Adrian because their abilities, strengths and weaknesses are all based on each other from being separated from the same zygote; as such, their Quirk was also split and in-turn they need each other to stay alive. They begin to feel weak from even just two blocks away from each other but it only gets worse from more distance. Like a Ying Yang, Kiran is a ball of complete light to Adrians's ball of complete darkness and they will create a stronger light or cast a darker shadow the closer they are to each other which strengthens them.

For Kiran, day time is most of the time they are awake and running so he always seems extremely excitable and happy being so full of energy from every source. He's pretty hyper most of the time, never really calming down for anything.

Kiran prefers to change into the dragon completely instead of using the parts but it can range from anything a dragon may have: claws, tail, dragon scale skin for protection and added defense, better smell and eyesight, dragon breath(Kiran's breath is a blinding flash bang), or various other features. The only thing he cannot use without becoming a full dragon is flight, since his and his brother's type of dragon floats naturally and doesn't have actual wings to fly.

Dragon parts can last a long time on the wearer, while the full transformation has a set limit depending on their energy. They can also became small ferret sized dragons for a longer period of time or become their current max size of a larger sized dog for a shorter period of time. Kiran can become a dragon for a rather long time because of the added advantages to his time of the day and is very skilled with being a dragon; because of being used to being the dragon, his movements with just the parts tend to be clumsy and weak in comparison.

Daylight Dragon : Kiran uses this power the most, becoming the entire dragon to fight his battles or even just to play and be quicker on the daily grind. Despite being unable to talk to others in this form, hes extremely quick and violent in this form, able to pull off solid movements with ease and precision.

Flash Bang : Makes a soundless yet blinding flash of light to distract and confuse his enemies. Best for escape and disturbing his foes plans.

Dragon Sense : Uses only the eyes and ears of the dragon to get a better surrounding view and added support.

Kiran and Adrian both have a lot of similar goodness in them, they both just deal with things in their lives differently then the other. Because of being up during the day for most of the time, Kiran's energy level is almost always spiked to its maximum; Kiran puts his energy into many things but more so being fun to be around and always trying to impress others with his skills and good abilities. In a lot of scenarios, Kiran can be rather opposite depending on the situation and how it's already moving along. Like being attentive and rather smart during class but forgetting simple things that he deems as unimportant like noticing a friends haircut or missing a note on the door. For people he likes he notices more and wants to make them happy but for a stranger he might not even pay any mind if he has no interest in them previously.

Kiran can be a bit of an asshole; he is a lot like the class clown and can easily be blunt enough to make people upset in many ways. He tends to always be able to get in the way and sometimes can't realize when too far is indeed, too far. Kiran also has habits of showing off too much, even if he knows he is unwanted or needed in the conversation... hes just that type of guy. He never is able to read the room if a situation is tense or if they make hints to wanting in to leave. Even worse so, Kiran acts on his simple whims, causing trouble where ever he goes and always looking for somebody to play with for awhile to sate his boredom.

When little Adrian and Kiran were born they wouldn't know the gravity of their Quirks abilities until around middle school. They were and still are very playful, kind boys all through grade school; their parents were overprotective but at a young age, what parent wasn't? Their parents both being Heros made the twins bond closely when they were little, never leaving each others sides, perfectly identical little rascals. Then, the parents had given them more freedoms to do as they wish, this being before their Quirks really started to bleed into their everyday lives.

In the beginning their Quirks started to change their visual appearances. Kiran started to turn pale like a ghost while Adrian got darker and darker over time; being originally a little caramel and their eyes of natural colour, the changes in looks was hard for them to grasp at first. Eventually they got past that and then came to middle school. By this amount of time the twins had never been separated for that long or from any sort of distance but there was a trip to the woods coming up to go hiking and both had very much wanted to go. Kiran at this point pranked students a lot and now was banned from the trip, but Adrian was still able to go so Kiran asked him to take as many pictures as he could.

It was a warm sunny day. Young Kiran was bored... so bored. He wasn't able to go on that trip and it annoyed him but he couldn't help that and tried to find something to do outside since the students were all gone it was classified as a day off. Running outside happily, he slowly started to notice over time how tired he was getting. It was weird and he didn't understand but ignored it... it wasn't nap time after all(that was math class). He found himself playing in a construction site that was abandoned for the day. Sweet! He thought, adult toys were always the best! Kiran did what any dumb kid would and started to climb up on the machines he saw... he could see for miles it was beautiful! He blinked a little at the view, noticing it was starting to go out of focus and move on its own. He stepped back in confusion from the sudden nausea of vertigo and slipped, falling and hitting his head on the cold metal giraffe he climbed.

It all went black. Next thing he knew he was being rushed into the hospital on the emergency bed; what happened? What was going on? Everything was so loud and painful. Kiran never knew pain like this before and only got snippets from the doctors saying he broke his arm and gave himself a concussion... but he was early enough into the hospital so they could fix it with no lasting damage. After much healing and explanation plus observation of the twins Quirks they discovered that much of their power derived from each other... making them unable to be separated for a large distance. The carefree twins at the time thought nothing of it but the parents were terrified of their sons possibly hating each other in the future. After this they became over protective, homeschooling the two of them and keeping them together at all times.

They lived their lives like this... only now, at 19 allowed to venture out side the limits of their home and each other; the parents meant well but it left the boys starved for interaction and excitement. That's when the boys suggested going to Crystalline University, top notch security from heros and better life skills their parents would ever be able to teach them. After a lot of talk, the twins managed to convince them and they started their lives in somewhere new, happy to be out of the clutches of their parents.
