Update: I have been asked about the colour intensity of this watercolour painting. This is a photograph of the original, any attempts to scan failed horribly : colours were flat and lifeless in comparison to the original.
Taking photographs of traditional paintings brings other problems : while we come nearer to the original than the scanner, the colour balance is often wrong so there is a need to correct this to try and be as close to the original painting as possible.
I haven't found an ideal solution for bringing watercolour paintings to digital format yet.

Thanks Vyvyan, my imaginary spots often stem from memories of various places I have liked, a bit like a kaleidoscope of impressions collected when watching beautiful landscapes, moods translated into colours and movements...

A scan or photo will never look as good as the original. I've experienced it already. No solutions except to be satisfied with your own work.
But regardless, it still looks really good. The colours in the mountains is my favorite part.

I take photos with my high resolution camera, then I correct the colours to the original as close as possible. I don't like it but it's the only way for me to share it with other people online.

Il s'agit en fait d'une photo de mon aquarelle. Le résultat sur un scanner est atroce, terne et plat.
Le problème des photos est la balance des couleurs. Mais je dois dire que pour celle-ci, après quelques réglages de la balance des couleurs, ce n'est pas si loin de l'original. Les couleurs sont assez intenses par rapport à d'autres de mes aquarelles
Il faut bien essayer de varier !
