Let's have a splash of color blue today
Silk hairpin with shidare (falls) adorned with blue acrylic beads. It has been made with pure silk, hand-dyed.
I use traditional techniques, like folding on tweezers and gluing with rice paste, without sewing.

Rice paste is very tricky and requires much practice - I've been making kanzashi for nearly 10 years now, and rice paste was a real challenge!
