A competition entry for IMAF .The theme was 'friendship' I wouldn't normally draw something with this theme, but I like how it turned out.
Done in photoshop with the pentool and tablet.

Style - Gothic Lolita
Probably the most common lolita style. The traditional blackxwhite scheme is very recognizable, but not all gothic lolita is black and white. This style incorporates the darker colors and themes (like cross motifs and veils) from Western goth into the more adorable lolita style to produce a very unique style that takes a lot of practice to perfect. So it's darker than sweet lolita, but much sweeter than Western goth. Most lolitas start off with this style because it much easier to find gothic items locally and it's very easy to coordinate.

I marvel so much over this style of digital art, as I know absolutely nothing about how it is achieved at all. I can only make very simple manips with very primitive programs, but I'm pretty much stuck with it. It's good to know that there are those who apply themselves with tablets, stylus, and all those wonderful programs and create such amazing things.

i love this most of all for tis style and how it doesn't look traced from anything, or like anything i recognize right off the bat.
i love the muted colors as well. and all the stripes/forms going on compliment that well.
