After the discovery of FTL (Faster Than Light) speed, the doors to our galaxy were finally opened and the dreams that were once impossible were now just on the other side. UNSO (United Nations Space Organization) Found a suitable and promising environment for a human colony. Xerxis is a small chilly moon that orbits the planet Mannadi. Mannadi is a fairly large planet about twice the size of Earth. Though it has a warm suitable atmosphere with an average temperature of 89 degrees, there are too many violent storms and atmospheric activities to establish a safe base. Now, in 2070, Xerxis was titled as a separate economy with shipping vessels running in and out of the Capital everyday. Today Xerxis has a blooming population of 8.2 million people. Not only is a top manufacturer and producer, but is home to millions of residents, intergalactic buisnesses and entertainment.

I don't EVEN know what the significance of this picture is, but what I DO know is that I love it! I've never seen space drawn to look this real. I love how you can see the stars and gas so clearly around the main star, and how the civilized formations on Xerxis are so visible and vibrant. This scene definitely does give the impression that space is, in fact, very cold.
Great work, keep it up! Would love to see more.

Well it was actually suppose to be a space station. the 2 smaller ones were ships. But the detail of the ships and station were much better in the .psd file. much crisper detail. in here theyre kinda blurry.

and... i just now have seen the citylights on upper planet... they just fucked me up!! great, looks like star wars! i suppose they are some real city citylites?
