So, here's my critique; I say Meowth & Charmander should switch places, while Raichu should be replaced with someone like Cubone.

It would be an awesome game! Untill then, it would be Mugen.
But I really wished Nintendo added Digimon to the Super Smash Bros roster soon enough (maybe in 2015?) as Sm4sh were developed by Namco Bandi and it would be awesome to, for example, add to the already pretty large roster.
BTW, I'm really looking forward to Digimon All-Stars Rumble and Pokken Tournament because it's all about the fighting monsters in real time!

Hmm... Let me settle my answer:
While they both have fanbases, Pokemon and Digimon are some serious stuff to script a warabout. Pokemon Red/Blue for Game Boy had introduced the Video Game industry to something they've never seen before; Catching,Battling,and Trading Pokemon,Collecting Simple,yet important Badges,and try to become the Pokemon league champion. Pokemon also was and still is a major element in multiple childhoods. Pokemon also has an anime based off of the games,and for the fact of it,Pokemon is also the second best-selling Nintendo franchise of all time,only a little ways behind the Italian Mustached Man in Red and Blue. Pokemon is definately superior when it comes to the gaming part of it. According to Wikipedia,Pokemon was born first. Pokemon was born in 1996,while Digimon was born a year later,in 1997.
Digimon has got some things a little ways behind Pokemon. For one,Digimon doesn't have an original style,but is instead literally Tamagotchi, more aimed for male audiences(not trying to be sexist here,that's just the way Bandai stated it is). Digimon is just Tamagotchi aimed for Male audiences,that's all it really is(not trying to be sexist here,that's just the way Bandai stated it is). Digimon also has an anime,and it is a very unique and different one from the Pokemon anime. The Pokemon anime basically has the same attempts as it's game counterparts,whereas the Digimon anime has something unique from other Digimon merchandise; A storyplot in which humans and Digimon team up and fight together to save the world(Their world,not the world of the Super Fighting Robot). Better yet,the Digimon anime has had many dubs. Tamagotchi also has an anime,but doesn't have anywhere even close to as many dubs as the Pokemon or Digimon animes(Which aggrivates me,I like Tamagotchi) While Digimon has less of a fanbase than Pokemon,it dominates Pokemon over it's unique and new twist anime.
So,the legacy continues on which one of these packs of monsters would be more superior battlers; Pokemon or Digimon. If Nintendo and Sega can make Mario and Sonic compete at the olympics,I don't see why Nintendo can't collaberate with Bandai Namco Games and make Pokemon and Digimon have the tag team battle of chaos,destiny,and glory.

oh you just messed with pokemon. as pokemon will out-number digimon. Pokemon are stronger! faster! digimon are digi-shits made by the great mighty poo from conker's bad fur day which is better than any other digimon game there is! and digimon sucks like SHIT! pokemon is better than digimon and its my opinion. I respect digimon fans but when they insult pokemon i have to go in a rage. i like digimon a little bit but i just like pokemon better. I have a little toy of digimon which means i really do like digimon but pokemon is just better in my opinion.

well to me,if you want to know reason why i think digimon is better,because well i just HATE when somebody loves/hates something without explaining,is that well,in digimon they were actually fighting to SAVE the world,while in pokemon they just keep repeating the story,like fighting for useless badges :/

in digimon they kinda do repeat story as well,but there are new characters in every season and new enemies,while in pokemon there are only (main) enemies mostly team rocket.........
And in my opinion some digimon has greater designs than pokemon(well not those transformer-like digimon....)
And you have to admit most of pokemon are designed way TOO simple,while in digimon they actually WORKED hard on those designs :/
And you can't say ALL pokemon are beautiful...some are REALLY ugly but yeah same goes for digimon,
well about the games i haven't played pokemon ones but most of people loves pokemon more because of GAMES

Yeah! I do agree with Digimon Anime better to watch than the Pokemon Anime, but for the video gaming side of things, I perfer Pokemon over Digimon. Because it was released before Digimon came along with it's exciting turn based RPG strategy and trying to become the Pokemon Master. Digimon video games on the other hand are just a mixture of different genres with mostly mixed reception.
Overall, both company's mons have a very big fan base, especially if big favourites of and are in the mix.

sorry, I wrote that a while ago(I hadn't seen the digimon anime and I was younger and stupider). My opinion now is that digimon has the better anime while pokemon have the better games. Pokemon anime is boring, but their games are awesome. Digimon anime is really really good and not childish at all. Digimon die, charaters brothers die. It has more emotion and tears then pokemon will ever have. So I love both franchises.
