time for some more self-indulgent sketches - this time with wings! kinda decided to build off of the idea behind this pic just for the heck of it, because I've always loved wings but I worried for years that it'd be too "cringe" to draw this kind of thing. BUT cringe culture is DEAD and I can draw what I want!! no one can stop me!

so the general concept behind these takes place in the latter part of the Nocturne AU, as something like this could only happen within the strange new world that Jim finds himself in. a magical mishap causes him to sprout wings (much to his dismay), but eventually Jim learns to embrace that change and use it to his advantage.

the other thing I kinda touched on in this batch of sketches is his relationship with FeelzGremlin 's character Hazel. She basically fills in as a mother figure for Jim, and he acts as a sort of "apprentice" for her by helping out with her medicinal craft. Jim finds that he enjoys creating elixirs and potions, since it's basically another form of chemistry (albeit a more magical version lol), and he decides to eventually pursue medicine as a full-time career within this world once he gets proficient enough at it. ;o;

and of course, the one on the right is a little concept where Mel accidentally gets sick while he and Jim are out running errands, so Jim takes it upon himself to get the big monster man back home so he can take care of Mel;; but. being a Very Tiny Boy, it's a bit of a challenge to fly with all of that extra weight xD he's doing his best, tho!!

anyway it's been a lot of fun to just let loose and run with whatever random concept pops into my head. I appreciate y'all putting up with my crazy (and probably confusing) story ideas, lol.
