Maybe that is the key feature, to be a great warrior, you must wear no pants! ...a little creepy in a battlefield, but hey! Scottish warriors wear no underwear under the kilt, why a Protoss could not? Quite airy...

Speaking of anatomy, I was working with Zeratul's SC2 model in Garry's Mod, and I have realized that he has nipples. For real. That makes no sense at all! xD
His Heroes of the Storm model doesn't anymore, and looks more cartooney.
Oh, and the other possible idea that I got in mind, maybe it is like in a certain Avatar animation done by Harry Partridge. That would also make somewhat sense. XD

It would be weird for protoss to have nipples since they don't have mouths. XDDDDDD
I somehow wonder how protoss choose mates since in the Dark Templar saga they have a term for a mate (kosh'lar or kash'lor?). I was also wondering if they may have rituals for choosing a mate, kinda like marriage. 〈(゜。゜)

I also understand the "universal female body type" almost every game creator uses, but then again, it looks funny to see female protoss with wide hips, that are anatomically wide for human female to give birth, or covering "strategic" body parts, like chests, even though they do not seem to have breasts. Why do Vorazun wears a cloth that basically covers her whole chest, even if there is nothing by anatomy xD
But then again, I understand that they want to keep it at least somewhat decent, so they won't have an ancient alien race running around all naked (yet Zeratul is closest to that). XD
I believe they can fall in love, after all they do feel emotions, so why not love? And it would be awesome if they had some traditions and rituals about it *-*
I haven't read it, but one day I might give it a try.
Heck, I haven't even play any StarCraft other than SC1 aaaages ago at friends, for a very brief moment ;ω;
As much as I like Blizzard stories, I have played WoW for so long, and now I play Heroes of the Storm (them inside jokes xD), so I know Blizzard can make awesome stories and epic characters, I haven't played SC2 myself, as I suck at RTS games, and I simply can't make myself play those ;ω;
Horrors, Shooters, RPG, MOBA, Survival, even some Strategies sure, why not.
But RTS I can't play, and I suck at ;ω;
But even though I have not played it, I have watched and/or read the stories and gameplays, like for example 5h cinematic with gameplay of Legacy of the Void.

Maybe for the Protoss, it's equivalent to breasts? Something to discern the female from the male. IDK. The main reason why human females have breast is for weaning. Protoss don't have mouths so.... sigh, I dunno ~(-_-~;; )
Giving birth may be the same. Maybe Terrans don't know much about Protoss anatomy and shiz that's why they're left wondering...? LOL
And yes, I believe they can have intimate affections. In one of the Starcraft manga, there were these two protoss who certainly have feelings for each other. They seem not to open overt about it like humans are. But hey, that's what fan arts and fan fictions for. I ship Artanis and Vorazun...not to mention Zeratul and Tassadar

I still think that looking at those birthmarks in high quality in Garry's Mod while working on my last screen, they do look like nips a lot, they even have the texture ó_ó

Having no mouth somewhat suits them. But anyway, looking at Artanis' face in high quality screens or cinematic, the lines/textures on his face somewhat remind me of a fanged skull.
Yet Blizzard again mocks that fact, for example in Heroes of the Storm quotes of Tassadar "I have never tasted death, and since I have no mouth, I do not expect to."
He has some more funny quotes like "En taro... me" or "Here is my number. Khala me, maybe?"
I also like Zeratul's joke with "phylar" and the sneezing one. xD
Can you imagine a random Terrans/Protoss conversation:
- Hey, man, how do you even breed?
- OH MY GOD, JERRY, YOU CAN'T JUST ASK THEM HOW DO THEY BREED
Well, I would be surprised if they didn't have any equivalent of the feeling of love, that would be kinda strange, with them being so advanced.
Yet I would guess it is a more pure feeling.
I do not think I pair or ship anyone from SC xD
I mean, I have seen canon and non canon pairings, but I do not have any shipping myself. xD
