Before I start this comment, I must state that I copied and pasted this comment to a few different deviations to ask about opinions on my ideas.
Actually, the Powerpuff Girls was running out of ideas after its movie came out. The reboot could be good, but the odds are against it since the original show was good and ready to end when it did.
Since a straight remake would probably fail, I would instead want a sequel series. Ignoring the continuity of the Powerpuff Girls Z, this would take place ten years after the original show had ended. The girls would be older and more powerful. I'm not sure if they could still fight monsters. We would need more powerful villains since the old ones probably would not have a prayer at beating the girls now. Perhaps there would be scenarios in which only one of the girls would fight.
There would probably be typical teenage scenarios, like education, school spirit, and rebellion against social norms although romance would not be a requirement for any of the girls. In fact, for Buttercup (who now insists on being called B.C.) it's not even a goal. Also, we could have the girls sort of drifting apart from each other working on their solo hero identities, even writing off the events of Super Zeroes as "first drafts". Finally, perhaps each one would have their own circle of friends that would take turns in the spotlight, and could sometimes interact with each other.
I'm not sure if this would work, but if Cartoon Network needs more Powerpuff Girls episodes and a straight reboot would almost certainly fail, the only option is to change up the formula.
P.S. Actually, Powerpuff Girls Z could get a shout out as something one of the girls could be watching.
