Last month, the Art Insomniacs Community hosted another Art Challenge, and I actually made it to runner up >////<)/
I never win anything art related, so I'm semi-secertly pretty happy
Drawing landscape + characters can be terrible beyond belief, but when it's only a background it's much nicer ^^
It can honestly be pretty relxing to just start doodling and slapping on colour bit by bit until a landscape forms :3
Start abstract, continue impressionistically, and go with things that look interesting.
It's nice practicee cuz you randomly figure out how colours and brushes influence things on canvas. I really reccommend it to anyone and everyone; try some completely random doodling for once! You might end up with something that looks really interesting ^^
