A simple render on what I'd like to think of as an awesome background. The credits don't go to Adobe CS3 but Corel Paint Shop. I experimented with the application to see if it works better than CS3.

It has its drawbacks. For eg, I couldn't find any blending options for blending the render against the background, and what equates to the 'lasso' tool in CS3 was not very user friendly, but definitely workable. (I opened the PSD file in CS3 to facilitate blending. ) I also missed my 'history brush' tool.

What I liked about it was the ease with which some effects could be generated. For eg. the lighting at the four corners was done using a pretty sweet technique.
