I kinda have the opposite problem. I've made too many friend requests to other people with important Servants like Waver, Gil or Okita. Now i only do those if they have a Level 100 Char, someone with all Skills on Level 10 or a character you just wouldn't grail if you were sane (I got somebody with a graild Gilles the Rais on level 75 i think and another with George on Level 80 if i remember correctly). Not though i have the problem that i often don't get the Servant i am looking for for the particular instance that i need them. Especially with the Events where it is vital that they have certain Craft Essences.
I am not too bad in terms of Friend Points though in my oppinion. I got Okita, Tesla, Scathach, Hercules and Vlad on my phone, all nearly max Level, and Altera, Arthuria, Jeanne, Vlad (again), Emiya, Medea Lily and Martha on my tablet neraly equaly high. Maybe my luck got higher because i never rerolled, but i will never know. I do hope i get Waver or when the time is nigh Merlin, i've got nothing too good in terms of Caster on my accounts besides Medea Lily and Elizabeth Caster.

Yeah i get you, i have some other servants apart from Gil but in the end Masshus always seem to flock to him. I used to play on another account where i had Jannu and i felt i was set for life on friend points but now that i have Gil it's completely different, at least in my experience.

Meh, just wait until true monsters like Merlin show up. The few lucky guys that get him will be swarmed like hell.

I can confirm that this is how I feel in FGO. Unfortunately I don’t have Gilgamesh though. I do get a bunch of friend requests from like level tens though. I only accept people who have a full support roster with decent characters thoughts.
I guess that’s kind of a dick move but hey I only have so many friend slots.

I accept every Masshu who send friend request, they are a mine of friend points, i have friends with op or decent servants but i always have space for a Masshu.
I have other servants besides Gilgamesh, but he's the one who gets all the Masshus always.

I don’t really need any friend points at the moment. I only roll the free 10 times every day. I’ll start rolling again when Kid Gil and Agra Mainyu go into the summoning pool in the future.
As someone who once tried my best to find a Gilgamesh who didn’t have a full friends list I can understand why.
Luckily the one I have now is a maxed out Gilgamesh. It’s awesome to completely destroy everyone using him.
