I like this, nice work(and it's good to see more blonde characters... even if Ingrid looks a bit frightening, I almost had forgotten about the 'dual eye color' thing). I like Shiro's design, it reminds me of how Ryuu's dressing in the comic. I'm really excited for what Britt has in store in the next chapter. So is Tooru also a dutch citizen?

Thanks! It does look a lot like Ryuu's original design, it was based upon an image Britt sent me. I don't know yet what Tooru's role is going to be, but I saw that you two started figuring that out.

... I have a thought, maybe tooru should be some tourist who entered the country just as the war was flaring up? So then he's sort of stuck in the netherlands. I think it'd fit him, and then for a subplot with Mika, he could tell her all about his country and how great it is compared to the netherlands right now(since he has no clue how home is right now)... And then if he ever gets the chance to go home, that's when he sees what has happened there because of the war(for some reason I'm thinking poland, don't know why). Anyways, I think being a tourist would fit him, since that's him in the comic.

I like the idea of Tooru as a tourist butΒ Poland would be difficult because it got invaded before the Netherlands and I guess it was pretty big news since that's how the war started and I don't think Tooru would have missed news that big.
But it could be possible that Tooru lived in Indonesia what used to be a colony of the Netherlands in that time. We called it 'Dutch East Indies' or "Nederlands IndiΓ«". Tooru could be studying in the Netherlands and since radios were forbidden and newspaper was more propagenda he could stay oblivious to the fact that Japan invaded the DEI in 1942.
