Adorable! I have a real life 'tiel, (though it's grey and white, not the usual yellow/grey kind), so I just had to fave this!

Thanks for the fav! Glad you like it!
Is it a white face silver? I've never seen one in person. I used to have a lutino. It's kind of funny cause someone on youtube commented on how they look like Pikachu birds...and it's so true!!! XD
*lol* My real life 'tiels are in my scraps and random photos folders.

I think she's just a white face according to a site I found, not a white face silver one. (Looks like white face silvers eyes are red, hers are just black.) She found us, we didn't buy her from a store. Her name is Rogue.

Yeah, they do look like pikachu!

I'll have to put a picture of Rogue in my gallery. ^_^

Very cool that she came to you! I heard a story years ago that this family got their second 'tiel because there was a lost one flying around outside and it heard theirs chirping inside so it sat outside the window calling back to it. This was in the summer so the windows were open...The people there let the outside one in and it immediately flew to their 'tiel's cage and started chowing down! XD I think they kept it after no one responded to lost bird postings they put up in the area.

All my current birds are adopted but none flew here. *lol* My macaw's being a lap sponge right now. ^.^

Neat story!

Weird thing about mine was that when she came to us her nails were painted purple! So have to I wonder where she came from. (I'm guessing some
goth girl or an old lady with
a too much time on her hands.)

My family _almost_ had a second one once. There was a young one hanging out in our neighborhood and it landed in this tree. Couldn't get to it and I think our stupid neighbors scared it away playing basket-ball. That was years ago, but your story reminded me of that. Hopefully it found a good home.

XD That's hilarious!
When I was visiting London, we went browsing through Harrod's and in the pet department, I first discovered nail polish for pets. Couldn't believe my eyes. But apparently there's an audience with too much time and/or money on their hands who feels they need to paint their pet's claws. So, your bird could've been subject to just about anyone considering how high end of a department store Harrod's is! *lol*

I too almost had a chance at catching what I think was a domestic bird. It hung out in our yard and I tried to catch it, but failed. If I had a large butterfly net, I might've succeeded. Hopefully it found a home though. It looked like a pale, peach red factor canary. Had a leg band too.

Thanks!
It's surprisingly easy to do. How easy? I'm self taught and have never read any directions nor tutorials. *nods* Thar ya be. It's a lot like sculpting, except instead of clay, you're working with fluff. Whee!
