I like your detailed and innocent style - especially with the strokes in the fur it looks like an old drawing right out of a fairytale!
I think, it would be also really great, if you work on the colours of the background. They're very saturated and the whole landscape seems to be flat. You will gain a lot depth of field if you dilute the further parts to blue-ish or grey-ish toned colours. It also would help to give more focus to the horse.
All in all: A very pleasing work, keep it up!
