"I know monkey kung fu."The real downfall of the Kim Possible movie: Ron seemed to have forgotten everything he ever learned of the course of the series. Like, that he knew monkey kung fu, for instance. I'm not saying I wanted him to be a total badass, but, well, c'mon, Kim got a battle suit and Ron was dumbed down even more than usual. It was the series finale, after all. He should have had at least one high point to go out on...
Enough with the commentary--the Drawing: Ron vs Monkey Fist, obviously. Ron's flailing legs didn't end up quite like I wanted, but honestly, the look I was going for way beyond my ability to draw in the first place. So, no complaints. The coloring (Prisma Markers) actually came out better than I was expecting.

Well I hope you saw "Graduation" The series finale of KP. Ron finally gets his day. As so why he never uses his powers, they only come around when Kim's not available to save the day. He's just lazy.

I don't understand why Ron doesn't use his Monkey skills half the time. It's like it only happens in episodes with Monkey Fist, and, well, every other episode, he's pretty useless. Of course, I haven't seen that many episodes, so I can't completely diss "The Ron". x)

Nice -- there are a lot of well done pics on dA, but very rarely do I see anyone who puts any dynamics or movement into their image. It's usually just one person or two people standing around about to do something (which is fine some of the time).
Here, you actually have movement and dynamics within the image, making it a lot more interesting to look at than if they were just facing off against each other.

Well, on the bright side at least he turned Synthojerk's head on it's axis... and he took out a sumoNinja without even trying.
The Monkey Fu thing's kind of weird... according to Ron in Team Impossible it "comes and goes". Which I think is the writer's way of saying they want to be able to make Ron goofy when needed, but they've still Deus ex Machina in Ron's kung fu moves when they need it.

"comes and goes", huh? And here I thought it was his quote-unquote 'Ron-ness' that gave the writers carte blanche to write him any old way. Oy.

Heh heh, I think it's one of those "all of the above" things. The tempermental nature of the monkey mojo combined with his natural Ron-ness makes his smoothness or lack thereof in battle an unpredictable thing determined only by the plot twists the writers favor most.

agreed, i thought i was the only one who noticed that they had Ron take stupid pills in SoTD. I mean, i think they had Friedle's voice modified by turning it up three octaves. And he has a NICE voice normally, so i don't know why they did that.
