Introducing Je'Nae, the main character of picture. Forgotten and abandoned by her stoned-out hippy parents, she was taken in and raised by a pack of sheep dogs. (But don't say she "was raised by wolves." She'll tear your throat out if you call her a wolf...) Now the Alpha of her pack, she still lives in the wild, watching over her family and her sheep... She's kind of your standard Sheena-type jungle girl. Only in the mountains.

...Coloring scenery with markers scares me. As a rule, markers are just too bold to draw backgrounds that fade into the distance...

Man, this was a while ago....  Sheep dogs; not sure what the breed would be.  Not the type that people use to herd the sheep, but the kind that guards them.  The kind that hikers are supposed to avoid if you find yourself near a sheep flock in a secluded mountain meadow....

Perhaps, you can pick your breed of dog in your story. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Livestoc…

Sheep dogs? Well that's an interesting twist on the whole wolfs thing. I can't help but notice one of the rocks seem to be shaped like a dog.

Hm I wonder if the sheep are planning a rebellion out in that field by any chance.

That, uh, actually is a dog. I guess granite and gray dogs look a bit similar...
Anyways, glad you like the concept of the character. And thanks for the of-so-prompt comment. Heh heh...

Rofl. Don't worry I knew it was a dog right away. But I thought it was a giant dog cuz I thot it was in the panel below it for a sec.
