Totally agree with you on Gary motherf-ing Oak. It's kinda sad that they watered him down recently in the anime. It was more fun when he always ticked Ash off on purpose.
I don't know much about Silver actually, since I have yet to complete any Johto Games. I have Heartgold, but no game system to play it on since our DS broke
I like Wally. So many people ignore him, poor thing. I think it's hilarious when he suddenly gets a strong team XD
Haven't played any Sinnoh games yet either, so I don't really know much about Barry. I really like his design though, so orange ^^

Well, if you want a PERFECT idea of Silver, look at Paul from the anime. A real jerk whos obsessed with power and doesnt care about weak Pokemon.
Barry is pretty easy to beat each time, but hes so damn annoying. As for Wally, I never liked him very much. He was too... light? He didnt make you want to punch a baby, like Silver and GARY MOTHERFUCKING OAK did.

Wally is sort of a pseudo rival in the Hoenn games. Doesn't appear much, but he's there.
I didn't draw Brenden or May here because I think of them more as player characters rather than rivals
