Very odd seeing a sub model with all that stuff over it. I never got into Seaquest, it just passed me by.

The sub was actually a Russian Alpha, but at the time I didn't have an alpha model. It did still however, have the turrets and missile launchers. Oh well what can you expect for '80's prime time tv...

Technically the wrong type of submarine. in the pilot the pirate sub was a "typhoon class Delta IV" sub, and the visual was that of a gun bedecked Delta IV ( [link] ) presumably either "typhoon class" was intended to refer to something about the modifications, or there was some research failure when writing the script.
your model looks excellent, and definately shows a sub with similar hydrodynamicly challenged upgunning, but it's using a Typhoon submarine as a base, not a Delta IV.
