Description A quick sketch I made yesterday...
I was boring and there's a gorgeous picture stuck in my notebook, so... I drew it =3
Photo ref used of course > actually, this is not the photo I had , this one is taken a second later. And mine is quite blurred and smaller, that's why my drawing is not that detailed.
But I like it anyway ^^

I think it's impressive that the face is recognizably Alan's in spite of it's simplicity.. I couldn't have drawn it better because I've to admit I don't know how to sketch him in a way to show my deepest admiration for his natural features. I think he has a handsome face. If only my friends would take time to look at him carefully.

He truly is handsome, but I think it's not all about beauty, there's also a big part of charm ... I mean, I discovered him in Harry Potter, and Snape isn't his most handsome character, but he is sooo charismatic

I discovered him in Die Hard, but I didn't know he was The Alan Rickman. I didn't even know his real name. I thought he was really a guy from Germany. What can I say? I was in Primary School then. Yet, he was the best villain. So convincingly villainous that I had to cover my face with the cushion during some scary scenes until Bruce Willis defeated him. Despite my hatred for Hans Gruber, I still braved myself to watch the shooting and fighting scenes. I feel like watching the movie again and see what I had missed while I was covering myself with the cushion. maybe have a movie marathon after work.

Well I said I discovered him in Harry Potter but I saw Die Hard and Robin Hood earlier. Didn't remember Die Hard at all when I saw HP1 ( apart from the moment Bruce Willis walks on glass with bare feet ), and barely remember the Sheriff ( except he was really cool ).
When I came back from the cinema the day I saw Harry Potter, I immediately checked on Internet who was that wonderful guy and I realized I had seen him before.

I don't think Hans is his most villainous character, though. Of course, he's bad and shoot people, but I find the Sheriff far more evil. Hans is so smart and clever and elegant, he can't be that bad. While the Sheriff is completely crazy.
But in fact, I love them both as much

Ah.. I'd like to see the whole movie of Sheriff of Nottingham, but it rare to find the vcd/dvd for it in my place, so I have been watching some parts of the scene at Youtube..

Ah, much like me, you are too hard on yourself!
I like its simplicity. I find it far more attractive then throwing it all out there. Leaves the mind more wiggle room! ^.~
One of my most prized posessions is my Alan Rickman signed photo, which also bares the infamous grin! ^_^
