Description The moment has arrived at last! After a couple of weeks drawing the lineart and more than a month of coloring, shading, highlighting, re-shading and re-highlighting, the Chibi Project 2007 is now complete! All of the ten DeviantArt artists (plus three more picked luckily out of the hat) have been Chibified and displayed for viewing pleasure!

I have decided to go back to one of my most random shading and highlighting techniques to see how it would work out with the chibis. Should this kind of thing stick throughout my future projects? You help me decide!

What is obviously new is how I did the eyes. Completly made up, original, fits with the rest of the coloring. I guess it was pulled off without much thought. And it worked! XD

More than what i had expected it would have turned out ,hehe. It's impressively great job with em all and your own chibistyle rly match their lookzzies. It's the typical classic starfish style with their pointed arms and feets whcih makes everybody so adorable lookin' . I like the tinge mix btw the dark cel-colors and the softness wich spread out from it's spots.
And the way Latte licks my icecream is so SNAEKY XD. I shall make it a trap next time with..uhm..a boxing gloove appear from the cornet somehow. Haha
And i also like how u drawed Daxxe. Top notch details for beeing chibified . Good stuff. Thanx m8

It only makes me wish I had gotten in on this uber sweet project....xD Dude, this is tremendously awesome for me to not to . This is by far one of your best to date, and I like how you temporarily reverted back to your old style. Everything about this rawks. The reflections of the chibis is a cool touch. Everyone has their own personality, which is nice to see being brought out here. Oh, and ROFLMAO @ the nosebleed comment....xD That is pretty hot. And the dude in the straitjacket uberly owns. You've earned yourself yet another from me. Great stuff Arb.

My old style, actually, would be the one that involves one shade of soft shadow. Nothing else. I just reverted back to the style I once experimented with, and through careful work made it better than the first time. And it's a style I intend to stick to for a long time to come. Not only that, but the eyes are brand new, which really does make this project so unique to me. ^_^

Ah, that explains it. But hey, sometimes good things can come from an old trick. Sounds like a plan....oh, and I think your chibi style is awesome. It brought a whole new perspective to your art as a whole, and whenever you combine various elements together they work out great.

Wow, this is awesome! Thanks alot for including me, you drew Reshi so cute with those shiny eyes and mini hands and feet. X3 The coloring is gorgeous and every character are so well drawn that you have to study everyone of them. Can't stop smiling when Daxxe gets his ice-cream licked by the other Yoshi, she looks soo innocent with the gloria, haha. Anyway, excellent work on this!

So many chibi's XD They are indeed fun to draw! ^^ and awww, yea, like Val said too, it's too cute how our characters are being so cute together, holding their "hands" together and sticking their legs out back. XDD I love that. :' ) And indeed, the CG is nice XD I also like the BG, how it's so "smooth". :3 and haha the yoshi characters cracked me up, the way one is licking the other's icecream, from a far. XDD

Oh, it's done! : D They're all so adorable, oh my! I love how unique each of them are! They're all so special in their own ways! And thanks a lot for including my boyfriend's character and mine! They're simply precious. *0* I adore how they're being all cute together~! I adore them so much! I like the shading, I think it looks shiny. <3 I especially dig how you did the eyes, they really stand out. I don't know much about CGing, though. XD; I think it's been at least 4 years since I've last attempted to CG something. But in any cases, this entire picture is lovely! Adding a reflection under them is a nice touch. Adds depth to it all!

Oh yeah. The eyes are brand-new. Never tried them before and they just came up in my lil' head. Probably the best eyes ever, and I just might carry that off to my other drawings as well. ^.^
