Who likes X-Men?
For breeportraitart 's contest prize I was asked to do my take on the newest version of Nightcrawler/Kurt Wagner from the X-Men movies. I haven't seen him in the latest films but I saw his older self in the old X-Men movies and I always thought he was a really cool character. This speedpaint was a little harder to do anatomically (idk why, it just didn't want to cooperate) and I wasn't sure if his blue skin would come out with the monochrome style, but I hope you guys like it anyway! 
This took me a little longer than most of my speedpaints but still no more than 3 - 4 hours.

Nightcrawler is one of my favorites in X-Men. I love the patterns on the skin and the eye color is beautiful!

Ohhhh wow! I love the tattoos on his face! I'm not too familiar with the character, but he seems really amazing! His eyes are very striking, and his hair is so smooth... he looks incredible over all!

Been a Nightcrawler fan for thirty years or so, and this is absolutely gorgeous. A very different version of him, but that makes it more memorable.
