This is a picture taken inside of a "church" Where they've used these to decorate with. I really can't remember the name of the city, but it was a couple of hours outside Praque/Praha. It was amazing to see it, and a bit creepy. There were bones for about 16.000 people there... Not something you see everyday...Related content

I been there too! It's really amazing place. Makes me feel a bit cold... And even though this is a great pic, it doesn't really give the right feeling about the atmosphere... Because that atmosphere can't be captured on film.
Oh, and the city is called Kutna Hora.

I love this! So much fine detail and warm color! How creepy, and yet... how beautiful. The strange combination of feelings! It is truly art to invoke such an emotional resonse!

I have seen a story on that before .. the whole church .. forget what it was called .. and where it was .. I think somewhere in europe .. they took the bones from the catacombs beneith the church and the city and instead of destroying them or getting rid of them they totally decked out the church .. the chandelere there in your pic is one of the big works .. but the whole place is just so macabely sweet.. I have to remember the name of the place and where it is at .. tiz on my list of places in the world I wanna see!

Oddly enough, I find this breathtaking.
...and not so much different than Egyptians being burried with their live servants. However, on some level, it is very disturbing to me as well. Provokative.

I actually think my parents have been in this church once... oh well... must have been some pretty twisted folks decorating that church... wonder where they got all the people from... hmm... creepy
