NO I AM NOT FINISHING THIS! XDDDI don't know how anymore just ughh. A somewhat old picture that I never wanted to finish due to lack of time. XDDDD
school is starting.

Fluttershy looks really magical with that bubble thingy around her (like a super powerful forcefield that only cute little animals can get through).
Is that her secret power? She's actually a super magical being who can not only talk with animals but also summon bubbles of ultimately powerful magic?

An amazing image here, a wonderful example of using both color and light creatively and effectively.
I love how the leaves, grass, and bushes are all pink rather than green or yellow. Β This helps unite the piece together by tying in the background with Fluttershy's hair. Β This also has the effect of making Fluttershy's eyes stand out immensely. Β Finally, seeing something we know and recognize in a shockingly new color gives this forest a magical and mystical feeling (a feeling that is helped by the shining bubbles floating through the air).
Then there is the light. Β Light shines down in all directions on Fluttershy, making her glow even in the bright clearing. Β The shadows at the edge of the picture help make her stand out even more. Β The beams of light add a feeling of expectation and warmth, as if something wonderful is happening or about to happen.
Finally, Fluttershy herself looks wonderful in your art style. Β I actually think her eyes may stand out a little too much, and the expression too faint to easily discern, but changing that may only diminish the focus and interest of the piece. Β However, her wings and mane are excellent, streaming out in the wind, giving a dynamic feeling to the piece.
I do have a question: I am also an (aspiring) artist, and I don't actually see how this piece is incomplete. Β What were you planning to change/add to this piece, what bit was missing that would complete it? Β
