Description This is a bit scattered-looking, but whatever. I just wanted to get these up. I thought of some character ideas during work today, and drew them up when I got home. Their names are up there next to them. My favourite is Dick Roach... I actually came up with him months ago, also at work. I drew him all over my sticky notes. I think he's adorableβ€”he's an upscale, snooty cockroach. I'm not sure if he even belongs here. He maybe deserves the distinction of his own post...

I'm putting a critique request on this, but I'm not too interested in critique of my technique... I did these fast and I know they could be executed a LOT better. I'm more interested in what you think of the designs emotionally and conceptually. Do you like them as people? As ideas? Or do you dislike them? That's what I'm interested in hearing.

by the way I love these so much. I keep just coming back and just staring this. the pennant goon is my favorite, and it reminds me of the scariest part of fullmetal alchemist, [link] [link] , as well as, to a lesser dgree, one of my favorite characters from the same show [link] [link] .

So glad you like these! And I do see the resemblance to the fullmetal alchemist characters. I'm suprised you like the Pennant Goon best, though! He's my least favourite... not a lot of flow, and kind of an afterthought. But I guess it's good that even my least favourite is somebody's favourite... and you're not the first to like it, either! Who'da thunk...

Brontosoreneck... I can't see sores without the the help of stars. Then what's the difference from brontookayneck?
Mooncow... I can see only a little bit of moon and cow. Better than nothing, I guess.

Yes, I think the Goon is strange for everyone.

A Brontookayneck (more often known as Apatosaurus or Brontosaurus) is the variety you usually see in the textbooks... Their necks are smoothly sloped, not crooked at all.

The Butterball Boys are not just gross and a little gay... they're incestuous and cannibalistic, too. Just the way I like it.

The crazy thing isβ€”that was an entirely accidental pun. I designed him, called him that, then realized the pun. I make a lot of accidental puns... which is lucky, because I actually like puns, and my intentional ones are terrible.
