Two things...
First, this is awesome. Love the proportions and the stylized shapes. Great color choices and simple clean lines that jump out at you and end up being a lot more than the sum of their parts.
Second, thanks for mentioning Von Toten. I just spent a wonderful hour going through his gallery and I'm heading back there now.
