I think I might want to crop about a centimeter from the far left. My shadow is visible, and although it isn't apparent as such, the dark area tends to draw the eye, especially since the grain is sorta pointing that way. It's too distracting.

Hmm... I don't really see anything, the dark spot I think you are referring to doesn't look like a shadow, which is a good thing!
