Don't know where I'm going with this, but I spent a considerable amount of time on it, so I'd like to take it SOMEWHERE. I should force my writerly friends to come up with something for it. I'm tihnking of naming him and his sword Seigfried and Balmung, respectively, after the god/hero and his weapon.Related content

i wish i owned something named balmung...i think i'm gonna name my scarf balmung...that sword in the middle is HUGE! is that actual size? it reminds me of sanosge's weapon (from ruroni kenshin).

heheh...Balmung the scarf. XD Sanosuke's sword is a little different - his has a ginormous handle, and it's called a zanbatou.

okay, first off i want to say that the art work and background is done really well. its cool that you actually put him in a setting, because i never do that when i draw. hehe.
buuuuuuuuuut
you should play soul calibur, because the character from that game named Seigfried looks exactly like this, giant sword and all. so it would suck if you ran into leagal issues. anyway, at least you could use it at kick ass fan art.
(maybe Namco based their character on the same god/hero as you, and in that case i dont think they could take leagal action, but its still probably going to be a mess. :-\ )

I know, but it always bugged me that they didn't use the hero's traditional sword, Balmung. I wouldn't write it as a fan comic, it'd be something completely original. Also, I changed his armor a lot, and gave him a knife. ^_^ Also, SC's Seigfried has a part, and his hair is longer - he has a scar over his right eye also. But I can certainly understand why you would make that assumption. XD

dude, I am the king of Soul Calibur II here at Umass Amherst (don't quote me on that), and Nightmare is my character. Believe me, I know. XD I played 78 straight matches as him two days ago. XP
