Description Ok, so... The past few art lessons, I've not really been doing anything, because all my work has been at home. So, I saw my friend working with some 'quink ink' and a quill pen. So, I decided to play around. Looked for something to draw. Grabbed a skull from the store-cupboard. And inked it onto a piece of scrap card...stuff.

Using ink is kinda hard, because sometimes, the quill will just decide to PEE INK ALL OVER YOUR WORK. D:< So.. You kinda have to hope the ink splots don't go anywhere important. (hence the random splot next to the horn..)

But it's sooo fuuunnnnnn! <3

Your techniques are absolutely amazing, it looks like it could be in animal anatomy book of some sort!
I guess that's why they made pens (peeing ink)(lol), but I am impressed how well your composition turned out, using quill and ink must become so frustrating. Bravo!

Awww. thanks. Yes!! It is frustrating when the ink pen suddenly splurts out a splat of ink for no reason! But, other than that, I love it. Intricate and fun! hehe. Thank you! :3

Nice work.

Pen puked a lot on me too when I first started out with dip pen. Few things that help, turn the nib reservoir side up, don't fill the reservoir just the tip, always keep a scrap paper beside your work and scratch at it a bit before drawing, keep the nib clear of paper bits, don't spread the nib open too wide.

If it happens anyway, first try and work it into the drawing, if you can't do that then if you use good thick and smooth paper such as bristol plate then you can gently scrape it off with a razor blade.

For something that you claim is so hard to work with, this is amazing.
