Happy New Year everyone!~

So I was talking with Kinipharian the other day and, for some reason, I had this image come up in my head about Ranvir. He's an old Riolu/Lucario Gijinka I designed way back in late 2016, when I honestly don't remember that much from that time period. But regardless, so I started practicing my doodling of him last week after Christmas, and I deeply enjoyed it so much I ended up beginning a proper reference for him.

Took way longer than I thought!

This is my first real "high resolution" piece too, so I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. The detail was fantastic, I loved getting every nook and cranny on this. However, I have to find an easier way to do lineart. That alone took roughly 4-5 hours to do, and while I am deeply pleased with the end result, I'm gonna have to find a way to streamline it.

Also compared to the last pic of Ranvir, I feel this one showcases far more of what I learned over the past two years in terms of anatomy and how to make things look far smoother.

Regardless of this block of text, I'm going to steadily work on the shaded version later~ I just need a break from doing this for three days straight. Also you can find the 4k image in the download, since I just realized that dA doesn't like images that big just laying around on the site.
