Ok, well, I'd been in a bit of a rutt but a good friend managed to pull me out of it.This is a picture of Sheryl Crow although unless you really know her 'off the stage' you really can't tell lol It was a random photo taken before a gig that was listed on her website a while back. My friend Ally absolutely loves the picture, as do I. But when she asked me to draw it for her for her birthday I was scared to death as the photo I had to work from was rather small and not great quality. But the photo meant so much to her and she had faith in me, for whatever reason lol, that I knew I at least had to try. So, I did. And this is the outcome. As far as she tells me she really likes it, but, she could just be lyin' to me
Anyhow, the specs:
Charcoals; dark, medium, light, chinese white Strathmore Charcoal paper; 64lb 9X12 About 6 hours work, on and offEnjoy!!

Thanks! The lighting really played a huge part in the drawing so I worked pretty hard to keep it authentic. I think I may be out of the rut! lol

Thank you so much! I loved working on the hair, it was the most fun I had the whole drawing lol Maybe because it was a mess so I could do what I wanted and it was still going to fit the drawing! lol
