Not likely, the movie was loosely based on a true story, when people thought Anastasia Romanov survived a massacre that killed her family. Look up the 1917 Romanov shooting.
Her body was found a few years ago, meaning she was, in fact, killed in the shooting. Therefore, the movie was wrong.
The film was made years before her death was official. To make a sequel would stir controversy about historical inaccuracy.
