I totally agree with what `diamondie said, I really couldn't say it without sounding like I was repeating her, lol. Simply amazing. Are you planning on selling these to the general public once you are done with them all? Or even continue on to the minor arcana? That would be awesome.

Thank you so much... the deck is going to be published within the next few month, major Arcana only. I'm going to post it all in a journal as soon as the SAFE 2007 is over.

The atmosphere is perfect for that card and the magenta looks gorgeous. I particularly like the part where the glowing lower body fades to the background texture (though the top part is also brilliant). Wow.

The Tarot cards are all ready to be printed. I'm just posting them one by one because I'm working like crazy to get all my paintings for the SAFE 2007 in France finished. At the moment I am coloring "Journey"... Adding the color is a tricky thing. First its demanding because of the technique and then you want to create a good painting... the more you add, the more difficult it is to balance all the elements. As long as you only have black and white, it is relatively easy, add a little red here and there, it still looks good and so on... so, we'll see how it turns out.

I think I'll need it, thanks! For us the trip to France is going to be a real strain. With all the paintings we can't fly and the roads might be bad with all the snow... Last year, getting the paintings back home was quite the nightmare. But the show was well worth it, spectacular!

make sure you have extra tires... hehe oh and turn off the horn... it is common knowledge that horns will go off on long road trips... i dont know, it just happens. for an example: watch the movie Little Miss Sunshine.

I have to try to rent this movie... Last year I volunteered to bring back those paintings from the "Salon" which had to come back to Bavaria. Karins son Christian and I went (I sweetened the trip for him with a stop at the Geneva car show). The whole trip was nothing but trouble. On the way down there we almost got stuck in snow and we barely avoided to be involved in two car accidents. One happened right in front of us and we were stuck for three hours... Loading up the van with the paintings was awful. It was raining from every direction and the place where the car was parked was more like a little pond. We were soaking wet as we left... just in time. Right behind us an avalanche came down and blocked the road for two days. Passing Lyon we thought everything was going to be great now, the weather was mild and motorcycles were buzzing around. Christian and I were looking forward to a wonderful dinner in Strasbourgh. Two hours later it started snowing so bad that we could barely stay on the road and crawl up the mountains. Trucks and cars in the ditch everywhere, I'm on the road with a van that isn't mine, the boy next to me and $ 350.000 worth of art in the back... sweating bullets. We made it do Belfort, got the last available room in a hundred mile circle and had a wonderful 12 course dinner, some good French wine and fell into bed... next day started with really bad weather and closed highways... somehow we made it back! This year I'm not going to be the "transporter"!

omg, that sounds like it should be a movie!!! of course, it would be so ironic. john cleese would have to play you, lol.

wow.

i dont blame you for not wanting to be the transporter!! your insurance company must of sighed a huge breath of relief when you all made it back!!

Are you saying you read this whole thing? Good cast for the movie but our dinner would blow production costs... and ah.. no insurance ... I had left it to each artist to have their work insured on their own but it seemed they had a lot of confidence in me. When I asked Viktor what woΓΌld happen if someone stole the van he just said "I paint new ones" he's a character!

You would like Viktor for shure. He will be one of the most famous painters of the century! And he is one of the most wonderful people I ever met. Unfortunately he only speaks Russian so one always needs an interpretor but Viktor is so strong and charismatic, you think you communicate with him on a different level. His friendship means a lot to me and I'm looking forward to meet him and his lovely wife Svetlana in France in two weeks ... if I ever get my paintings done

ok, ok, i promise not to pester you any more.... go and paint, my friend.

Gorgeously colored and stylized. I love the figure work and pose. The balance and ambiance are excellent. Stunning lighting.
