I havent seen much work lately. This is very nice, hope to see more. What does the title translate into?

The title is a play on words... in German it could mean: "they want to win" as well as: "they want profit"... the two mayor objectives in war, right?

Yes i'd say war is prioritized for that hehe....it's very eloquent the gradual sift from the skulls forehead to the dove. The dove of peace looks bound by the death skull, but it looks balanced, both in your work and in concept. Theres much to think about here.

What an amazing work of art Reinhard. I love how the skull transforms in the peace dove, and it leaves me with a ray of hope that this would also be possible in the real world.
Unless of course you look at it in a different way, as in the dove transforming into the skull with little hope left...

Actually I was hiding a lot of messages in it and there is a fragile balance. Luckily we can enjoy peace here but as absurd as it is, one tells us it has to be defended by means of war... Just today I heard on the news, that most valuable resources have been found in Afghanistan (and I'm not referring to opium)... so yeah right, its the freedom that needs to be defended!

im reminded of dali's nude photgraph of women metamorphosing into skulls...i can see the irony here, that peace coexist with war and that war is unattainable so long as greed exists
