It is a nice somewhat panda look. But large marine animals such as sharks, sea turtles and orcas are darker on the top while lighter under theirΒ bodies for camouflage in perspectives. Looking down in the ocean, darker colors are less detectable because looking down is mostly a darker color. Looking up from within the ocean appear much lighter because of sunlight.
By being very light on the top and dark underneath, it is practically emphasizedΒ through contrast from above and below.

I love the coloration. did you use a right whale dolphin as a reference, because it looks like a southern right whale dolphin, but with reversed color scheme.Β
Also, color has been found in one species of Mosasaur (but i'm not sure what species) and it seems they were countershaded, like great white sharks. However, we do not know as of yet how many mosasaurs had said color scheme. This could also be quite feasible.

Yes, it's just an inverted skin of killer whale !Β
Thanks for information !! But mosasaurs family lived 60 millions years, we maybe can supposed that in all this time, there was a lot of differents pattern !! Thanks a lot !

Yes, I try to make stuff with actual accurate informations, I try !! Thanks ! I like the Jurassic World's Mosasaur, but it seems more like a giant croco-whale that an animal with aquatic adaptation...
