Edit: Wow, it's been forever since I do something for me with an actual effort. I feel tired but happy and now I can resume working .
Well, my friend Angel suggested to look for drawings and images for inspiration. Not necessarily the inspiration I wanted, but heck I am glad to begin to draw.
St. Perpetua and Felicitas were from Carthage and it is speculated that they died in 209 CE. Perpetua, a wealthy Roman citizen that had a child, made a diary while she was prison and was written by her brother later on when she was executed for not celebrating the pagan rites and did not recant. Felicitas was a slave that also died with Perpetua. The 2nd to the 5th Century were the centuries of the martyrs and will later on there will be known cults around them.
