Description ...he didnt expect that this house will be so different
the most of the old abandoned houses were full of waste and scrap
but not this one...

there is nothing more than fustiness and dust in every room
He goes upstairs. The stair seem to break down under his feet.
His heart beats faster with every single step. Emptiness on the 2nd floor too.
Upstairs to the attic. Nothing. Just some empty rooms. But...at the end of the corridor...there is a open door
There is something special about this room. The others are dark and empty but this one is full of light and...
someone placed a chair under the window.

someone was here
someone is here...

i know...my english isnt good enough to expain how i felt there
and maybe this picture and the story doesnt work so good for you...but i had to try

thank you for reading

The english conveys the message perfectly, as does the photo capture.

perchΓ© non cerchi di spiegarlo in italiano, sotto d'inglese? potrebbe funzionare, almeno per qualcuno.

I like this.
It's kind of.
Sad and hopeful at the same time?

I know this isn't the way you intended it to be, most likely,
but it makes me think that it was like a prison,
and someone escaped through the window, or something,
but their absence is really evident.

You're very welcome. I'm becoming your biggest fan.
Don't worry. I won't go favoriting everything. I know how annoying that can be.

favs arent so important for me
sure, i always appreciate them
but getting a few words means more to me

Mary--jane In reply to AntekPyra [2005-01-18 18:16:04 +0000 UTC]

I find it really aggravating when someone first finds my gallery and goes about favoriting everything. There's one person who has more than 3/4 of my gallery favorited. And to make things worse - NO COMMENTS! I always prefer comments. Especially the good ones. They tickle my fancy and make my day.

The minute I saw this I knew I can't read your description because this is one of those rare pieces that start spinning off hundreds of stories in my head. I like that.

So I will also leave the commenting on the technical merrits of this to those who actually know (or at least think they do) and just tell you that this image replaced my nightly reading of really good writing.

It was a very emotional story. I completely understood your feelings. This picture just captures the moment in it's finest. Definately another masterpiece.
