The english conveys the message perfectly, as does the photo capture.

perchΓ© non cerchi di spiegarlo in italiano, sotto d'inglese? potrebbe funzionare, almeno per qualcuno.

I like this.
It's kind of.
Sad and hopeful at the same time?
I know this isn't the way you intended it to be, most likely,
but it makes me think that it was like a prison,
and someone escaped through the window, or something,
but their absence is really evident.

This is awesome. Great feeling in the imagery, very dark and dreary.

You're very welcome. I'm becoming your biggest fan.
Don't worry. I won't go favoriting everything. I know how annoying that can be.

I find it really aggravating when someone first finds my gallery and goes about favoriting everything. There's one person who has more than 3/4 of my gallery favorited. And to make things worse - NO COMMENTS! I always prefer comments. Especially the good ones. They tickle my fancy and make my day.

The minute I saw this I knew I can't read your description because this is one of those rare pieces that start spinning off hundreds of stories in my head. I like that.
So I will also leave the commenting on the technical merrits of this to those who actually know (or at least think they do) and just tell you that this image replaced my nightly reading of really good writing.

It was a very emotional story. I completely understood your feelings. This picture just captures the moment in it's finest. Definately another masterpiece.
