No need to feel ignorant, I recognize that it's not entirely clear.
I drove to take this picture in my little Honda Civic. I then hiked, on my own two feet to the spot where I took this shot. It aggravates me when people trample through the wilderness with their 12 mpg behemoths, to “enjoy the peacefulness.” In my opinion, 90% of the SUVs out there exist solely to: get terrible gas mileage and to empower already poor drivers with a false sense of safety as they bully smaller cars off the road. I’ve seen too many people killed from out of control SUV’s. When a 4 ton truck hits a 1 ton car, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what happens.
If you truly need an SUV, then fine. But my opinion is that most people don’t.
