This is a breathtakingly beautiful picture, both this close-up on the lovely lady and that bigger image of the whole elaborate cityscape! It reminds of of all those fantastical Arabian Nights tales of genies and flying carpets, but it is quite its' own thing... it takes those visual concepts and runs with them in a totally unique direction. I like the partially shaved hairstyle of the woman, it looks very cool and suits her extremely well! She has a sort of Arabian Nights Punk thing going on, and I like it a lot. Her fiery wings are just plain majestic and remind me of something a seraphim angel would have, or something similarly otherworldly. Her costume looks splendid, simply gorgeous, as does both she and the whole scene! The sheer detail in this painting is just plain amazing... that city has so much to it that makes it look realistic yet also fantastic at the same time, which is not an easy balance to achieve... and the blue of the sky contrasts nicely and complements also, the blue of the woman's clothing. All in all, this is a masterpiece of fantasy art that I am delighted to favorite!
