(Since this work, i've learned how to handle perspective a tiny bit more so hopefully will do it better next time!)

Upon seeing this piece I immediately remembered college and began to grin. This was my best friend and appartment-crasher to a "T"! Every detail is in place: the inability of the girl to sit on the couch in a normal fashion, Cike & pizza (staple foods of a college student), games & electronics, and in our case various felines traipsing through our pad. Well, my pad, really - she just crashed there 5 out of 7 nights, sort of like the cats!
I like the use of color - basic and simple, uncluttered to ofset the clutter of the girl's life. Well done! It allows the eye to take in everything without getting "taken in by" everything. Even the slightly off center or out-of proportion sense works because face it - what average girl's life or perception is completely centered or in total proportion at that age?
All in all, a wonderful piece packed with fun! Great job!

The concept is definitely cute and interesting enough. The interior environment and the objects scattered around the room really give the viewer a sense of the personality of the main character.
The shading is minimal, which I suppose works decently for the somewhat cartoonish style. However, most of the objects are shaded completely in monochrome. When objects have shadows and light on them, they're usually of different, even complementary colours, not just a darkened version of the same hue. The image also doesn't have any discernible light source save for a select few shadows.
The biggest problem with the picture is the distorted perspective. Often when starting perspective, it helps to draw out a grid to organize your lines and make sure objects are sitting properly on the plane. There are so problems in terms of where the objects are sitting in relation to each other as well. The girl's foot is going behind the curtain, but the curtain is at least as far away as the width of the fishtank. This makes the picture confusing to look at.
The fishtank looks great, as do the kittens. They're definitely some of the best parts of the picture.

This piece caught my attention straight away from the thumbnail version. The color and simple lines were immediately eye-catching and the initial impact is obviously one that's very cute and adorable. Upon further inspection I like alll the details that you've put into this. Personally I'm a sucker for details, and in particular when you flesh out the details in a very genuine and familiar moment I find it really appealing. The title is very fitting for this piece because I think the 'girl' as the main subject is immediately endearing appealing. She has a very slight tinge of sexuality and a lot of playfulness, you can see so much about her and about the little cares of her world. She likes her pizza and her coke, her games, and of course all her cute kitties running around bringing the cuteness in her story over the top. Technically I think there's a lot of room for you to grow, but I think you have a sensibility that does a lot in making up for it. I think courageously presenting a story and pleasant details that people want to see goes a very long way in capturing peoples attentions and impressions in spite of the minute shortcomings. Seeing the hidden kitty toy under the couch will make up for the less than geometrically correct angles in most peoples mind.

thank you so very much, i'm very happy the point of the drawing came across so clearly.. i actually saw myself in this a lot while making it.. everything from clock showing the hour i was born at to the kitties i had for adoption last year.. even what's written in that magazine, pizza, feel of the cola classic bottle in the hand, borrowed ddr in april.. and so on.. Sometimes we need to remember the moments we enjoy and focus on that, hopefully we can make time for resting and relaxing not just work all the time.. that's what i was hoping to show and you seem to have understood it perfectly, so thank you very much for appreciating the details

same here <3 i made this with elements i enjoyed a lot, things i had and made, basicallyy elements that hinted to my bday (like the clock, the writing on the phone, etc) so i'm glad others can put themselves in the same role, there's so much in common with other people, it's just great to see that <3
